Look Out: PAC Sponsors the U8 MD King Rebellion
This season, PAC is a proud sponsor of the U8 MD King Rebellion, a minor hockey team from King Township.
The players are ready, and the jackets prove it. PAC is proud to be on the sleeve.
Rebellion is the name of the King Township Minor Hockey Association's rep teams. According to the Township of King, it honours the Lloydtown Rebellion of 1837, part of the Upper Canada Rebellion.
At U8, the players are seven years old. Under Hockey Canada's development model, they play on half-ice all season, a format built around skating and skill rather than standings.
Minor hockey also runs on volunteers: the coaches, managers and parents who give up early mornings and weekends so kids can learn the game. Giving back close to home matters to us, from SmilesForMiles for SickKids to volunteering at Scott Mission.
Have a great year, Rebellion.
